Ok so I had more time then I thought...So here is a little update on what we have been up to....
We got our place all to ourselves now! (well us and Patrick) We have started making it our own and should be in SLC for at least 6 more months.
We have been getting out when the weather has been nice, and I took Mike up to Memory Grove for a nice walk. Then the next day it snowed...Not quite spring time I guess.
Last weekend was Valentines Day... We had a nice day together...We went to lunch and then to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was pretty cool, especially the sting ray tank where you get to pet them. There was one sting ray that tried getting out and ended up splashing us a few times.
We went home and got ready for a night out on the town. Mike took me to see the ballet. (its the 2nd time we have went) We went to see Madame Butterfly but got a two-for-one. They had a short ballet in the begining which was kinda like watching Willie Wonka set to the ballet! LOL
The real ballet was great though! Another great performance by Ballet West!! But by far my favorite was the carriage ride....Mostly because I finally got my engagement ring.
This weekend we are traveling to the great Silver State-Nevada that is. I am going to be able to meet Mike's mom and dad. I'm really excited and will let you all know how it goes.

a day at the spa
So yesterday Lynn and I got to spend the afternoon at a spa courtesy of Mike and his Christmas gifts to us. We went and had the best time getting pampered and beautified. It all started with us being lead down the hall to the "meditation room" We sat on these huge comfy couches and listened to the waterfall and relaxation music. Then the girls came and got us for our manicures. We sat and had girl time for almost 45 min. After that we were scheduled for facials. This was by far my most favorite part of the day! I am definitely going to get another one of them done. After the 45 min of pure heaven we were in we went for our massages. We had them in separate rooms so if you want to know how Lynn's went you'll have to ask her. But mine was absolutely divine. I didn't want to get up from the table but I was really eager to get back to Mike and give him a huge hug and a thank you!! By far the best gift and he was so thoughtful to do the same thing for Kristalynn so we could spend a few hours together as sisters.
Just in case I haven't said it a hundred times since yesterday...Thanks baby! I love you!!

Happy Holidays
Hey all-Its been a while since my last blog so I thought I would update you with what we've been up to lately. . .
Mike and I got to spend our first Christmas together. We woke up when Lynn got home and opened presents together. Once I was done playing with my new water purifier (hehehe) we packed and headed down the road to Ephraim. While Mike drove I got to call his mom and wish their family a "Merry Christmas" I have talked to her a couple times now but still have yet to meet her. Baby steps...LOL....JK!
Well we had a great time with the family and then that Sat Mike got to meet all my Sanpete friends (well minus one..we missed ya Kelly). We all met at Roy's and had a blast, lots of laughs!!! I think Mike really enjoyed meeting them all and I hope they did too! I only wish that one dinner could have lasted for a lot longer. I never get to see those girls like I want to! Maybe this summer, being that it will be our 10 year reunion. I think we will all end up going...or at least getting together again!

The Nutcracker

So we have been really busy this Dec trying to get in as much of the holiday spirit activities as we can. It all started the day after Mike moved here. . . He took me to see the Nutcracker, for the first time by a real ballet company. We went to Ballet West and they did an amazing job! I loved every bit of it, from getting all dressed up to getting my heal stuck in a crack in the sidewalk. I dont think we could have had a more perfect day!! Mike says his favorite part was the piece and quiet he got for the whole 2 hrs that I didnt talk, but of coarse he was kidding...right??
Temple Square

If you've ever met me you know that I LOVE Christmas time! One of my favorite parts is looking at all the Christmas lights. Well Mike and I decided to go check out Temple Square to get into the Christmas spirit. We had a great time and everything was so beautiful!! Here are some pictures of us at Temple Square.
