I know shocker huh?!?!?!?!

Ok I admit it, its been a while since I blogged but I had good reason...Ok maybe not good but I had my reasons. Lets see where to begin... I think we last left off back in July...

So about the beginning of Aug we had some problems and I ended up losing the baby. It was pretty devastating to us both. I was so scared and Mike was so amazing. He was always there for me whether I was wanting to cry or scream. I know I couldnt have made it thru that week without him!

Around the same time we had a niece born. A beautiful baby girl came into this world on Aug 5th. Curt and Colleen were so surprised! She really is gorgeous!!! Earlier that week Mike started a new job at a place here in Ephraim called Iworks. And since he's so awesome at everything he does, after just a week there they promoted him to a supervisor!! Its so nice to have him home everyday now. I missed him a ton while he was out driving trucks!!!

The first of Aug we got to move into our own place. Its so cute! Its a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath house! I love it. It just feels like home!! I will take some pictures so you can all see it!!

Lets see what else... Oh we have been going to some yard sales and found some really super cute things to start decorating our house. I have started doing crafts and projects around the house. Thursday I have designated as "Craft Day" and after I finish blogging here I am going to start painting a dresser we got at one of the yard sales, for free!! We are planning on putting it in the babies room after I'm done with it....Pictures to come later.

Other than that bit of excitement I'm just putting our house together, making it ours, I had my first substitute teaching job the other day and I am going back on Fri. I love being at home and all but it felt really good to get back out there and do something else for the day.

I promise to write more soon and post those pictures!! We love you all!!!

The Stewart's!!!

We had a wonderful last couple of weeks!! Here is an update on all the excitement. . .

I woke up Fri morning thinking about the man I was going to marry and wishing I could give him the only gift I know he really wanted. . . A baby. So I took a shot in the dark and peed on a stick and almost right away it said pregnant!!! I was so happy and I knew that Mike would be too. I had this big elaborate plan on how I wanted to tell him but I couldnt wait so I ran right into the room he was still sleeping in and told him right then! It really was the start to a great day!!

We were getting married that day and had a lot of friends and family intown and we knew that everyone would be excited for us too. I thought we were going to wait a little but Mike couldnt he was WAY too excited! He didnt even make it to the ceremony without telling people.

But we made it downt he isle and it was a magical day that I know neither one of us will forget!
Thanks to all our friends and family that made the trip to Ephraim to be there for us! Especially the ones that flew from great distances it really meant a lot to both of us.

Less then a month to go!

Hey everybody! Hope you are all doing well out there in cyber land. We have had a pretty interesting month or so I would say.

Things are going well for us in most parts of our lives. The wedding planning is all but done. Now we are just waiting on for the day and a few last minute things. I'm not worried at all though. I cant wait to see what Becca does with the cake and I'm really excited to see how the flowers turn out! We sent the last bunch of invites out today so if you didnt get one.... Well I guess your not invited..JK It could have meant that I am hand delivering yours. Just be patient!!

Some other exciting news.... We BOTH got laid off from the law office we were working for. It was quite a shock to us! So we have moved to Ephraim, where we eventually wanted to end up anyway, it just happened sooner then we had thought. We are currently living with my parents until our lease up in SLC is done. Mike has gotten a really good lead with a trucking company out of Mt Pleasant so keep your fingers crossed for him.

We'll keep everyone updated as the job situation unfolds...

We're getting close...

Well we had our engagement pictures taken last weekend by a good friend of mine..Thanks Krista! We were told about this really neat place by a friend of ours at work. It ended up being behind a mental hospital (Mike loves telling this story)! It was so pretty up there though, picture opportunities around every corner, literally!! Here are just a few, everyone be looking for your invites in the mail, we only have 2 months before the big day! Hope to see you all there!!!

A trip down Memory Lane

So today is May 3rd. A lot has happened on this day in the past. . . Its my nephews 19th birthday for starters and today is the 1 year anniversary of when Mike and I met. Our story begins one year ago today. . . So I'd like to take a walk down memory lane....
Mike drove from Rock Springs to meet me and a few of my friends for a night out on the town. We ended up going to dinner first with Kristalynn to Applebees, one of my favorite restaurants. Then we met up with Toshina and Chase and went to this really fun place called the Triangle Room (I think) anyway it ended up being a gay bar but Mike handled it like a champ! I'm not sure if he and Lynn were that crazy about being there but I had a good time. After a few hrs there we all went our separate ways. Mike and I ended up back at my apartment and watched a movie. The rest... is history!!!

Here's an Update

Ok, ok, I know!!! It has been a long time since I blogged. But in all fairness Mike got a way better response then I ever did, but I decided that if I had to wait for him to blog again we'd have a 5 year old by then...Just kidding!!

So in the last month we have been up to a lot. When we arent working down in Provo we are trying to get out, do some fun things and plan the wedding. I think we are getting there. I talked to the florist and figured out a rough estimate of how we want our cake. I took Mike to the site of the ceremony and he said he really likes it! I cant wait for July 3rd. It doesnt feel like it can come quick enough!!

We went to the zoo with Curt, Colleen and CJ a few weeks ago, and had a blast! That little boy loves trains and his new Uncle Mike! Once CJ learned Mike's name I think he forgot how to say mine. Everynow and then he'll take me if his Mike is not available. I'll make sure to post some pictures from the zoo trip as soon as I get them.

Mike and I went to Boondocks the family fun center that night and had a ball!! We raced on the slick track and Mike beat me on the last lap...I dont know what happened...But anyway...I came out ahead on the minigolf coarse by one whopping stroke. YAY ME!! and then my awesome fiance got a bright idea to take me on a flight simulator....Not such a bright idea after all!! I dont want to jade anyones opinions of the simulator but by the end of the LONGEST 2:14 sec of my life I was going to vomit and Mike wasnt looking that hot either...Which we figured meant we were just in time for some video games...LOL! We had a really great day together and as soon as it stops snowing(stupid Utah) we plan on going back again... I need a rematch on the slick track.

Well hello fans of the pants! Mike here how are ya? So it has been decided that since this is half of my blog page I should start doing something about it. So id like to start on commenting that the people who follow our lives are great we thank you for all of your support! Ok so im sure you all are wanting to know about the trip to nevada well here it is. We started out with our adventures by driving to Elko, and to tell you what if you havent been on that streatch of road in the middle of the night well you havent lived! So anywho as we were close to tooele i admit i ran over a deer, randi was not impressed that this happened but i wasnt the first to do this and wanted to make sure the poor animal wasnt suffering(my bad!).

As our trip continued we made it to Windover and enjoyed Burger King, Randi was excited cause she had never been there and i was excited to see her as happy as a six year old on christmas morn. Pretty much after that we made it to Elko and stayed at the motel 6 (classy joint i must say). On sat we met my momma (karen) and step sis (jenny) at moms pizza in Battle Mountain, it was awsome, fun times were had! It was neat cause Randi had never met my mom( she was soooo nervous) and I had never met jenny so it was a good time, lots of laughs! After lunch we went to jennys home (nice pad!) and talked of old times, new times and times to come, plus ossie(jennys cute daughter) and ponchie(jennys son) kept us so entertained.

We then drove to winnemucca to meet for dinner with my dad(a lot of eating happened on this trip) and we ended up eating at the flying pig, which is a awsome BBQ Place and one of my favs, it brought back memories i tell ya, the dinner was great and it was good to see my pops! I think he was a bit nervous but it went well. We then drove back to Elko, watched a movie and headded back home on sun, stopping for a visit in Tooele (or Stansbury, sorry Curt!) to see our really cool friends A.K.A the CH3's and a 1/4. Then back home to prepare for yet another wonderful week of work.
Well thats all folks and thanks for reading this, as stated before we are grateful for our friends and family and wish only the best for you all.

Valentines Day

Ok so I had more time then I thought...So here is a little update on what we have been up to....

We got our place all to ourselves now! (well us and Patrick) We have started making it our own and should be in SLC for at least 6 more months.

We have been getting out when the weather has been nice, and I took Mike up to Memory Grove for a nice walk. Then the next day it snowed...Not quite spring time I guess.

Last weekend was Valentines Day... We had a nice day together...We went to lunch and then to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was pretty cool, especially the sting ray tank where you get to pet them. There was one sting ray that tried getting out and ended up splashing us a few times.

We went home and got ready for a night out on the town. Mike took me to see the ballet. (its the 2nd time we have went) We went to see Madame Butterfly but got a two-for-one. They had a short ballet in the begining which was kinda like watching Willie Wonka set to the ballet! LOL

The real ballet was great though! Another great performance by Ballet West!! But by far my favorite was the carriage ride....Mostly because I finally got my engagement ring.

This weekend we are traveling to the great Silver State-Nevada that is. I am going to be able to meet Mike's mom and dad. I'm really excited and will let you all know how it goes.

YEAH!!!

So we wanted to let everyone know that on Valentines day we got ENGAGED!! Mike surprised me with a trip to the ballet and then a horse drawn carriage ride up to Memory Grove where he proposed, and of coarse I said YES!!

So everyone better not make any other plans then coming to our wedding on July 3rd 2009!!! See you all in E-town!!

a day at the spa

So yesterday Lynn and I got to spend the afternoon at a spa courtesy of Mike and his Christmas gifts to us. We went and had the best time getting pampered and beautified. It all started with us being lead down the hall to the "meditation room" We sat on these huge comfy couches and listened to the waterfall and relaxation music. Then the girls came and got us for our manicures. We sat and had girl time for almost 45 min. After that we were scheduled for facials. This was by far my most favorite part of the day! I am definitely going to get another one of them done. After the 45 min of pure heaven we were in we went for our massages. We had them in separate rooms so if you want to know how Lynn's went you'll have to ask her. But mine was absolutely divine. I didn't want to get up from the table but I was really eager to get back to Mike and give him a huge hug and a thank you!! By far the best gift and he was so thoughtful to do the same thing for Kristalynn so we could spend a few hours together as sisters.

Just in case I haven't said it a hundred times since yesterday...Thanks baby! I love you!!

Happy Holidays

Hey all-Its been a while since my last blog so I thought I would update you with what we've been up to lately. . .

Mike and I got to spend our first Christmas together. We woke up when Lynn got home and opened presents together. Once I was done playing with my new water purifier (hehehe) we packed and headed down the road to Ephraim. While Mike drove I got to call his mom and wish their family a "Merry Christmas" I have talked to her a couple times now but still have yet to meet her. Baby steps...LOL....JK!

Well we had a great time with the family and then that Sat Mike got to meet all my Sanpete friends (well minus one..we missed ya Kelly). We all met at Roy's and had a blast, lots of laughs!!! I think Mike really enjoyed meeting them all and I hope they did too! I only wish that one dinner could have lasted for a lot longer. I never get to see those girls like I want to! Maybe this summer, being that it will be our 10 year reunion. I think we will all end up going...or at least getting together again!
